Sometimes you will be answered by the self-proclaimed expert of that field, and sometimes you will receive answers from all 3 viewpoints. We can't promise you the moon, but we can surely shed some light on the subject for you.

It has been a few weeks since we launched www.ask3guys.com , and we have had over 20 questions submitted. For those of you that have submitted questions, as well as those that have taken an interest in reading the ones we have posted, we want to thank you. We have been asked a few questions about our intentions, so we wanted to take the time to address them.
1) "How did you guys come up with this idea?"
Well, basically, we were just talking about helping people one day. I believe Victor commented on how many people ask for his advice on things, then the concept of the site was just thrown out there. We all thought it would be something interesting for us, as well as (hopefully) helpful to all of you. We definitely didn't expect it to happen so quickly. After pitching the idea to a friend that happens to be a webmaster, he ran with it. A few days later, the site was live, and the questions started coming in. Nothing could have prepared us for the amazing amount of support that we received over the first few weeks (especially being the holidays).
2) "What makes you guys think you are the experts?"
Nothing could be further from the truth. We are three very humble guys that deal with the issues of life-- just like everyone else. There's no way that we would ever claim to have all the answers, but we each have a passion to help people out. There are many areas that we are versed in; however, we have no qualms with researching the subject to provide you with a thorough, objective answer. In addition, we'll even use some lifelines, if you will, when we are faced with something that requires additional expertise. Through networking, we have sources from all walks of life. Be it doctors, lawyers, accountants, women, athletes, and so on, we have you covered.
3) "Why do you guys want to answer questions from total strangers?"
Why not? We have all been in places where we have needed advice. And, sometimes the best advice comes from someone that is not a part of your life. Friends and family may not always give you an unbiased answer, which is what we guarantee to give you. Of course, we do have hopes of Ask 3 Guys becoming a phenomenon, but we will never expect anything from our supporters in return. If our site grows, then Google may start advertising on it, but that will only help with the cost of maintaining our website. If it gets bigger than that? Well, our plan is to start an Ask 3 Guys Foundation, so we can start providing monetary aid to needy charities. Finally, the answers that we provide help people, which is the best service that one can provide. In return, we have actually been learning a little bit about ourselves in the process.
4) "How can I be sure that I remain anonymous?"
Just like any other advice column, we never post the identity of the person that submitted the question. When the questions are reviewed and sent to the team, the guys receive the actual question-- that's it. If the person uses an alias, then that is what we use in our answer-- otherwise, we make up one that adequately reflects the question. Questions are submitted by email, and that is the means that we use to provide our answers. Coming soon, you will be able to submit your question from the site directly. We understand that confidentiality is a major concern-- especially when you could be potentially exposing very personal information. Be confident that the identities of everyone will not be disclosed to anyone.
5) "How does Ask 3 Guys make money?"
We don't. Each guy has a normal job, and lives a normal life. Ronnie is a used car manager and co-owner of a bar. Victor is a lot manager in the car business, he has his own consulting business, and he maintains the beer and liquor inventory for several bars. Eddie is a process improvement analyst and a Six Sigma Black Belt for one of the nation’s largest defense contract holders, and he is also a fulltime student. Starting this site is just something that we all thought would be a good idea. If it takes off and turns into something huge, then we will entertain the idea of doing it fulltime.
